Chemical Engineering Roadmap
The Chemical Engineering Technology Roadmap produced by ICemE in 2007 is an example of the more than 30 roadmaps available within the chemistry domain.
The Chemical Engineering Technology Roadmap covers the following topic areas as key themes:
- Sustainability and Sustainable Chemical Technology
- Health, Safety, Environment and Public Perception of Risk
- Energy
- Food and drink
- Water
- Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering
The core output from the process is a priority list of 20 position statements taking a global perspective on issues of public concern, with action plans for IChemE grouped under the six thematic areas.
